Standard Streamable HTTP, anonymous and read-only: no token, and your login state is never read. Works with clients that support remote MCP, such as Claude Desktop, Cursor, and Cherry Studio.

Limits and safety
  • A normal query returns at most 30 items, Trending at most 10, and a story timeline at most 50; asking for more returns an explicit error instead of quietly widening the range.
  • The public_id for newproteinbase_get_story must come from the story links returned by the Trending tool; do not guess IDs.
  • Headlines and summaries come from external sources and are reference material only; the tools state this boundary. Check important numbers, policies, and direct quotes against the original source.
If it will not connect
  • First check that the URL is complete and the client supports remote Streamable HTTP; if a new tool is missing, refresh the tool list or reconnect.
  • The service needs no sign-in; if the client asks about OAuth or an API key, choose "None".
  • On a 429, wait as the response says; do not retry concurrently.
  • Still stuck? Send the client name, version, and error message to Feedback.
